In a bed of complete yellows & oranges, this one red tulip stood out. These flowers, found in the divider on Park Ave, were just beautiful today; the colors & number of healthy looking petals was just striking. I don’t think I’ve seen so many tulips planted in New York at once time but everyone’s building has them. I can’t wait to see them again.

It got up to 90 degrees today in Central Park. Thousands of winter weary New Yorkers flocked to Sheep Meadow (pun intended) to enjoy the sun, clear skies, warm weather, and some R & R.

Summer is Here

Despite the date, summer is here thanks to 90 degree weather in New York City. My wife & I met up with friends in Sheep Meadow in Central Park were we sat on the lawn and basked under the sun. I took off my hat & enjoyed the warm sun on my face as we ate a picnic on the lawn.
