I’m comparing a photo site I visit on Safari and Firefox. Safari handles the JavaScript fine. Firefox doesn’t. I’m hopeful that the Adobe/Mozilla deal will help resolve that problem.

I’ve had issues with it crashing, rather than performance issues. What Adobe/Mozilla deal are you talking about?
Rosano,
Thanks for visiting. The Adobe/Mozilla partnership that I’m referring to is the donation of code by Adobe to Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/tamarin/). If you read this commentary (http://www.browserden.co.uk/news/tamarin/index.shtml) they talk about how the new JVM will speed up AJAX rendering and be a big boost to JavaScript performance in general. Although, we’ll have to wait a while for it to happen.
