This is the first photo post I’m doing… but only to see what its like. This is more of an experiment to see if I want to incorporate more pictures into the blog. Anyway, this is a picture I took on February 19, 2005 of Central Park walking through The Gates exhibit.
I’m so excited about this next new thing that I had to change my pants after getting it set up!
I added QuickTime streaming to the site!!! Yes, trusty viewers, yours truly has gone and added QuickTime streaming and all its H.264 goodness! I’m practically hyperventilating at the idea of becoming a media portal.
Ok, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself here; I’m no Elliot Carver or Senor Spielbergo (yet).
But, What I am on my way to doing is taking some videos with my digital camera and posting them for everyone to see what I do with my free time.

The latest is the URL icon I added last night. I can’t create icons anymore than I can throw myself so I used an icon from Thunderbird that looks like someone writing on a notebook. I’m sure you get the allegory in that so I won’t elaborate on why I chose it. I only hope that the big bird himself doesn’t come down and peck me for using it. See, I didn’t get permission from the Mozilla Foundation or the artist who created the icon. I know, I’m going to get sued for it.
But I’m going to do what everyone does in this sort of situation: wait to get caught and agree to remove the icon when I get served with a legal notice.
At least I’m not downloading music and DVDs off of Bittor- oh wait…
but some are more equal than others.
